Laila Jeans - SPRING 23®
For Spring , we went full rococo.
A decadent fantasy inspired by Marie Antoinette — oversized bows, powdered faces, ornate details, and an unapologetically excessive world built around the collection.
I led the art direction and production, working closely with director Tibureina to build the visual world from the ground up. We pushed the fantasy until it became playful, messy and a little ridiculous — including the moment when the girls stopped posing and started throwing cake at each other.
The result was a fashion film and campaign that felt less like a traditional lookbook and more like a fever dream.
Let them eat cake!!!!!
A little Marie Antoinette.
A lot of denim.
And absolutely no table manners.
